Working Student - Quality Assurance

Your mission

To support our growing engineering team, we are looking for a Working Student in Quality Assurance to join us as soon as possible. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products - working closely with project management and engineering to keep our releases sharp.

Test case management: Create, review, and maintain test cases to cover the latest product changes and requirements.
Test execution: Perform manual smoke and regression tests in staging/pre-production environments before releases.
Reporting: Document test results and create test reports and bug reports after each testing cycle.
Bug identification & Jira management: Create Jira tickets for identified defects based on prioritization
Team collaboration: Work closely with PM and Engineering to clarify requirements, align on expected behavior, and support smooth releases.

Your profile

Currently enrolled in German university as a student of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field of study
Good understanding of software testing concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with Jira
Basic experience with API testing tools such as Postman
Comfortable reading logs and basic error output to assist in root cause analysis and reproducing bugs
Exposure to version control concepts (e.g. Git) and working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Proactive and detail-oriented: you spot what others miss and follow issues through to resolution
Available up to 20 hours per week; ideally with at least 6 months of availability
